Hello, all are welcome. This blog aims to answer the tough questions that are often dismissed or overlooked. Mostly they will be my own personal questions I have struggled with over the years, but in the future I will take questions from readers. If you grew up a Christian, just recently became a Christian, or aren't a Christian at all, welcome! Gay, straight, black, white, male, female, I will not judge you. Our paths are all our own. The goal is to create a dialogue about Christianity in a respectful way. Here is a little bit about me:
I grew up in a Christian home, but throughout my life have seen things that made me question my whole outlook on life and whether or not I truly believed or if I just believed because my parents raised me that way. I have seen a children's pastor bully my little brother, the head pastor saying that was my "perception" of events. I have watched mental illness and suicide shunned and dismissed as demons. When I was still in preschool my parents were a part of a cultish church. I see many things wrong with the church that had pushed me away from Christianity, and in turn has lead me closer to Christ. I may go more in depth about these things in future posts, but for now that is what I have to say about myself.
